Foreign Trained Eligibility Application 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).  In order to do so, you must first be deemed eligible to write the CSCT certification exam, and if eligible, you must obtain the pass mark of the exam.

If you wish to apply for eligibility as a foreign trained cardiology technologist or physician, you must meet ALL requirements outlined in the application form. 

In order to be deemed eligible as a foreign trained cardiology technologist or physician you must also have been performing ECG’s (EKG’s), Ambulatory Holter Monitoring and Exercise Tolerance Testing for the last 5 years on a consistent basis.

The CSCT Exam is offered twice each year; in May and October. If you are deemed eligible to write the exam, your first attempt must be made within the next available two (2) sittings.

If you meet all the outlined criteria, please complete the Foreign Trained Application Form. This form must be completed electronically in its entirety and submitted via email along with all supporting documents to the CSCT Education Director (educationdirector@csct.ca). Once your application is received, you will receive an invoice via email for the application fee of $250 Canadian funds to be paid prior to your application being processed.
